About the Role: Senior Appian Developer at Deloitte India
As a Senior Consultant – Appian Developer at Deloitte India, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable business applications using Appian’s low-code automation platform. This role is ideal for someone experienced in BPM tools, passionate about process digitization, and eager to work in client-facing agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end solutions using Appian BPM.
- Create scalable Appian components including interfaces, SAIL forms, process models, and records.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Appian workflows.
- Integrate Appian with external systems using RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Data Stores.
- Ensure performance tuning, code optimization, and best practices in Appian development.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and solution architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, demos, and solution walkthroughs as a subject matter expert (SME).
- Lead and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay updated on Appian platform upgrades and implement new features where relevant.
Required Skills
- Appian Level 2 Certification (L2) – mandatory.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Appian BPM development.
- Strong knowledge of SAIL, Appian Records, Reports, Interfaces, and Process Models.
- Experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and integrating with third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing projects with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Appian L3 or Appian Designer certifications – preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments in Appian.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience working in a consulting or large-scale IT services environment.
