Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage (Risk & Compliance), you will:
- Support BCG’s Risk Analytics team by delivering research, regulatory insights, and analytical expertise.
- Collaborate with global case teams to assess credit risk, financial regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Contribute to client projects, proposals, and workshops, occasionally traveling onsite for client engagements.
- Assist in commercialization efforts, developing insights and IP to strengthen BCG’s knowledge base.
- Create client-ready deliverables: whitepapers, benchmarking reports, regulatory trackers, and presentations.
- Conduct competitive analysis, industry benchmarking, and maturity assessments to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with experts across BCG X, consultants, and risk domain specialists to co-develop solutions.
- Train and mentor junior analysts by sharing risk management best practices and domain expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Consulting Experience: 2+ years in risk/compliance consulting within BFSI/Insurance (India).
- Industry Experience: 3–6+ years in banking/financial services with focus on credit risk and financial regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, or Law.
- Certifications (Preferred): Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Basel guidelines and RBI compliance frameworks.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and research capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal/written English; ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Business Acumen: Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to generate client value.
