Key Responsibilities

Scaffolding Planning and Coordination

• Collaborate with planning, formwork, finishing, and MEP teams to identify scaffolding needs across projects.
• Liaise with HQ Scaffolding Head to request proposals for scaffolding applications aligned with contract specifications and codal provisions.
• Assist in preparing scaffolding scheme drawings using site inputs and develop detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Coordinate with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) teams to ensure scaffolding meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Resource Management and Implementation

• Allocate and deploy scaffolding resources strategically based on scheme drawings and project requirements.
• Ensure scaffolding installation follows approved designs and secure necessary client approvals.
• Conduct periodical safety checks on scaffolding materials and equipment prior to redeployment.
• Monitor scaffolding work through certified scaffolders ensuring compliance with safety norms and proper resource utilization.

Training and Safety Compliance

• Identify scaffolding training needs and coordinate with HQ and CSTI-B&F IC for specialized training programs.
• Conduct regular training sessions for scaffolders covering codal safety requirements and best practices.
• Oversee periodical maintenance and inspection of scaffolding resources and materials.
• Review incoming materials from other sites, taking corrective action against any deficiencies or non-compliance.

Inventory and Reporting

• Monitor procurement, consumption, stock levels, and scrap of scaffolding materials.
• Maintain and update regular reports on scaffolding operations and resource status to HQ.

Skills & Expertise

• Extensive experience in scaffolding design, implementation, and supervision for construction projects.
• Strong understanding of scaffolding safety standards, codal provisions, and EHS compliance.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to interface with multiple project teams.
• Ability to manage resource allocation, logistics, and material reconciliation.
• Experience in training scaffolders and ensuring skill development aligned with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate (ITI) or Graduate Diploma in relevant engineering or technical fields.
• Minimum 5 to 20 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding management on construction sites.
