Key Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Consultant (APEX Developer), your responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable Salesforce solutions using APEX, Lightning, Visualforce, and configuration tools.
- Leading or participating in end-to-end Salesforce implementations including requirement gathering, design, development, and deployment.
- Managing and mentoring a small team of developers on Salesforce platform projects.
- Performing system integrations, customizations, and enhancements based on client business needs.
- Creating project deliverables including requirement docs, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
- Coordinating with clients for demos, feedback, and implementation support.
Key Skills & Expertise
- Strong development skills in Salesforce APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
- Experience with at least one full-cycle Salesforce implementation.
- Hands-on knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, or Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with Heroku and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
- Proficiency in Salesforce implementation methodology and agile delivery.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, security model, and platform best practices.
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Salesforce CRM Consulting or Development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Ability to travel for short- and long-term client engagements.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
