This role focuses on middleware testing, test automation, and quality assurance across enterprise applications. As a Middleware Testing Practitioner, you’ll design, build, and deploy automated testing solutions that enhance software quality and reduce manual effort. Ideal candidates have experience with SDET practices, Java/JavaScript coding, API automation frameworks (Rest Assured), and middleware platforms like WebSphere MQ or IBM Integration Bus (IIB). ✅ Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy automated testing solutions for middleware applications.
- Apply automated tools to support testing across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Recommend tools and processes to automate test management, reporting, data generation, and defect management.
- Collaborate with QA, development, PM, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Analyze production issues and implement solutions with minimal manual intervention.
- Understand data models, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed system architecture for testing purposes.
- Implement automation tests using stub and mocked data from integrated systems.
💡 Required Skills & Expertise
- 5 – 8 years of SDET and middleware testing experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript or Java coding for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with tools like SOAP UI, CA Lisa, Parasoft, or similar API testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Internet/Web technologies and API automation frameworks such as Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with WebSphere MQ and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) is a plus.

- Experience in test automation strategy design for distributed systems.
- Knowledge of database queries and NoSQL platforms.
- Ability to solve/debug production issues while coordinating with remote teams.
- Understanding of end-to-end automation testing with stubbed or mocked data.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
