Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of finance and corporate applications projects from inception to rollout, including post-production transition.
- Business Case & Scope Development: Create business cases, project vision, and detailed scope documents to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, plan forecasts, and ensure cost-efficient delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal business sponsors, leadership, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Governance: Manage projects using PMO-approved processes, including Planview Tool tracking and compliance with internal audit standards.
- Corporate Application Roadmap Alignment: Support and align project initiatives with the organization’s corporate application strategy.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, test plans, status reports, and delivery/transition plans.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years as an IT Project Manager in global environments, ideally with finance systems expertise.
- Education: BS/BA in Business or Information Technology; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Project Management Certification: PMP or equivalent, with practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, Oracle EBS/ERP, BI/OBIEE, and cloud-based platforms.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand stakeholder strategies, business goals, and financial processes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal skills to build relationships and communicate project outcomes effectively.
- Leadership: Strong team management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Finance Systems Experience: Exposure to Oracle implementations, ERP modules, BI/OBIEE, and cloud finance platforms preferred.
