About EY Forensics – Investigations & Compliance
EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services team helps clients protect and enhance their reputation by assisting them in preventing, detecting, and responding to fraud, corruption, and regulatory compliance challenges.
As a Project Analyst, you’ll support EY’s Forensics and Compliance operations by validating records, analyzing data, and maintaining transparency in client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update data records in internal systems and Excel databases.
- Validate candidate, institutional, or corporate documents and information per client guidelines.
- Conduct secondary research and company profiling for investigative purposes.
- Coordinate with HR departments, educational institutions, and verification sources to confirm credentials.
- Communicate via calls and emails to collect and verify required information or documents.
- Track and close verification checks within defined timelines.
- Collaborate with other operational teams to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
- Support business intelligence and compliance research initiatives as needed.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet targets under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
- Organized, methodical, and highly focused on quality assurance.
- Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline (Law degree – LLB/LLM preferred).
- Experience: 0 to 2 years in background verification, business research, or forensic analysis.
- Preferred Knowledge: Secondary research, company profiling, and business intelligence tools.
