Key Responsibilities
As a Procurement Lead / Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership & Reporting
- Support and guide procurement associates, ensuring accurate execution of daily tasks.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct quality checks.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytics for procurement functions.
- Procurement Operations
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders in SAP and Oracle.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure best value and compliance with global procurement policies.
- Ensure timely follow-up on past due purchase orders and confirmations.
- Obtain and verify supplier quality documents, updating ERP systems and vendor master files.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with vendors for supplier creation, compliance paperwork, and invoicing issues.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Implement global and regional procurement agreements at a local level.
- Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Enforce procurement policies, ensuring compliance with international and local laws.
- Track and analyze procurement data to improve cost, quality, and delivery.
- Support carve-in/carve-out projects, mergers, and joint ventures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate from a reputed institute; MBA / Diploma in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred.
- 10–12 years of procurement experience in manufacturing; pharma industry experience is an advantage.
- Hands-on expertise with Procurement tools, SAP, Oracle, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong data analysis, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with ability to train, negotiate, and influence.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- High energy, detail-oriented, confident, and able to work under pressure.
