Key Responsibilities
As a Principal Project Planner, you will:
- Develop project schedules aligned with contractual requirements for diverse industries using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).
- Ensure all schedules are consistent with Work Breakdown Structures, resource profiles, and project scope.
- Lead the creation and approval of baseline schedules with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update project schedules, track progress, milestones, critical paths, and float paths.
- Prepare schedule update reports including S-Curves, variance analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
- Conduct change impact assessments for proposed and approved project changes.
- Collaborate with project control and management teams to integrate cost, cash flow, and materials data.
- Perform detailed schedule integrity checks and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Provide professional support and guidance on project planning processes and standards.
- Lead schedule assurance activities, both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects remotely.
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
