Key Responsibilities
As a Material Resource Planner (Supply Chain Specialist), you will:
- Develop optimized replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials over an 18-month horizon.
- Monitor MRP purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy of delivery dates, lead times, and quantities.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring supplier fulfillment.
- Handle supplier relationship management, including confirmations, delivery issues, discrepancies, and claims.
- Define stock policy and inventory management strategies for each SKU.
- Identify and resolve material supply-demand issues proactively.
- Drive waste reduction initiatives by minimizing write-offs and excess stock.
- Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement projects to strengthen supply chain efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech degree; MBA in Supply Chain & Operations preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years in MRP or Supply Chain Planning within FMCG, Food Processing, Beverages, Beauty, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems, procurement processes, and inventory optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve supply chain issues.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
