Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments on plumbing fixtures including flush meters, shower heads, faucets, valves, and traps.
- Maintain and adjust hot water tanks, vacuum pumps, condensate systems, and thermostatic valves.
- Repair and service steam heating systems and pneumatic control systems.
- Ensure plumbing equipment is maintained per company standards.
Operational Support
- Assist the Engineering Team Leader with plumbing-related maintenance tasks.
- Prepare estimates for repair work orders and seek necessary approvals.
- Respond promptly to guestroom plumbing issues and internal department service requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all plumbing-related tasks.
Team & Collaboration
- Coordinate seamlessly with all departments for efficient hotel operations.
- Support and motivate team members for optimal performance.
- Contribute to a high standard of guest service through reliable plumbing solutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on plumbing expertise with attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues efficiently.
- Service-oriented with excellent teamwork and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Good reading and oral proficiency in English.
Qualifications
- Secondary/High School education required; Plumbing Trade Certificate preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on plumbing experience.
- Experience in hospitality or large facility maintenance is an advantage.
