Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber at Novotel Hyderabad Airport, you will:
- Assist the Engineering Team Leader in maintaining plumbing systems and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on flush meters, valves, traps, faucets, and other fixtures.
- Handle adjustments and upkeep of hot water tanks, steam heating systems, thermostats, pumps, and regulating valves.
- Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance in guestrooms and back-of-house areas.
- Ensure equipment and plumbing systems comply with safety and company standards.
- Prepare estimates for work orders and obtain approvals from supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Provide prompt responses to guest and internal department service requests.
- Support the Engineering & Maintenance team with additional responsibilities when assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Secondary or high school education required; Trade Certificate in Plumbing preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience, preferably in hotels or similar facilities.
- Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Service-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, energetic, well-presented, and professionally groomed at all times.
