Responsibilities
As a Night Auditor at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, your role will include:
- Performing end-of-day financial procedures and reconciling revenue transactions.
- Preparing and distributing daily revenue reports and audit summaries.
- Balancing and verifying all income sources against supporting documents.
- Running daily closing procedures in PMS, POS, and financial systems.
- Reconciling credit card transactions, banking reports, and cash deposits.
- Identifying discrepancies, correcting errors, and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Monitoring night audit logs, backups, and compliance with internal controls.
- Assisting with internal and external audits through accurate documentation.
- Coordinating with Front Office, F&B, and other departments for data accuracy.
- Communicating effectively with the morning team for a seamless handover.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality.
- 1–2 years of hotel finance or auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Familiarity with hotel systems such as Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS).
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
