Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Due Diligence Manager at Deloitte, you will:
- Lead and deliver complex M&A and due diligence projects
- Manage end-to-end engagement lifecycle with minimal supervision
- Conduct analysis of financial statements, business plans, and performance drivers
- Evaluate transaction risks and identify key value drivers
- Guide and mentor junior team members; manage project timelines
- Collaborate across cross-border, cross-service line teams
- Produce clear, insightful reports using Excel and PowerPoint
- Interact directly with senior stakeholders including clients and internal leadership
- Work on a wide range of sectors, with a focus on Financial Services and Infrastructure
- Participate in client proposals, business development, and strategic growth initiatives
Skills & Competencies
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience in Transaction Services or M&A Financial Due Diligence
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills
- Excellent report writing and business communication capabilities
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple concurrent projects
- High level of commercial acumen and understanding of deal dynamics
- Strong attention to detail and risk management focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – First attempt preferred OR CFA (International)
- 6+ years of relevant experience in due diligence, transaction advisory, or corporate finance
- Experience with Financial Services, Infrastructure, or distressed asset transactions is a plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
