Key Responsibilities
As a Deal Management Manager – Strategy & Transactions (SaT) at EY Mumbai, you will:
- Lead and support M&A deal execution, financial modeling, and valuations.
- Conduct market research, financial analysis, and commercial due diligence.
- Manage transaction structuring, risk assessment, and capital efficiency projects.
- Prepare pitch materials, proposals, and client presentations.
- Build and maintain client relationships with corporates, PE firms, banks, and NBFCs.
- Independently handle financial modeling and investment analysis for live deals.
- Collaborate with EY’s global Connected Capital Solutions (CCS) teams on strategy, corporate finance, buy/sell transactions, and restructuring projects.
- Contribute to investment banking advisory and capital allocation strategy.
- Supervise junior team members and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation expertise.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Experience in transaction advisory, investment banking, or M&A consulting.

Qualifications
- Education: MBA from a Tier-1 Indian B-school (preferred) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 6–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Preferred Background:
- Investment banks or M&A teams in large financial institutions.
- Private Equity or Venture Capital firms.
- Transaction advisory or commercial due diligence roles.
