Key Responsibilities
As a Manager in Real Estate Valuation, you will:
- Lead valuation and advisory engagements across commercial, residential, industrial, land, and development properties.
- Apply advanced valuation approaches including:
- Cost approach (RCN, Residual)
- Direct Comparison
- Income approach (Capitalization, DCF)
- Conduct in-depth research to benchmark:
- Rental yields
- Vacancy rates
- Cap rates and discount rates
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for real asset valuation.
- Translate client requirements into tailored valuation strategies.
- Analyze market intelligence for use in valuation reports, negotiations, and investment decisions.
- Compile data from industry databases, public filings, and market reports.
- Support internal and client-facing presentations and business development initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior analysts within the team.
- Liaise with global Deloitte practices in Canada, UK, Australia, Middle East, and Europe.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- MBA (Real Estate specialization) or CA (Chartered Accountant)
- 5–8 years of experience in real estate valuation or advisory
- Experience with leading property consulting firms like CBRE, JLL, Savills, or Cushman & Wakefield
Preferred Certifications
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
