Key Responsibilities

As a Manager of Software Engineering, you will:

• Lead multiple engineering teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance.
• Execute and oversee software solutions, system design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review/debug code from team members.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues for operational stability.
• Evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials with internal teams, vendors, and startups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Expertise in automation, continuous delivery, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong knowledge of agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security principles.
• Experience with cloud-native systems, AI/ML integration, and enterprise IT processes.
• In-depth understanding of financial services industry IT systems.
