Summary

KPMG Global Services (KGS) is seeking a Manager for Global Mobility Services (GMS) focusing on US Tax operations. This senior leadership role is perfect for finance and tax professionals with 12–18 years of US Tax experience, including expertise in partnership and corporate tax, and a strong background in cross-cultural engagement management. The Manager will lead the Bridge team, oversee day-to-day operations, manage client relationships, and drive operational excellence across US tax advisory and compliance engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Team Management

• Lead and manage the Bridge team, ensuring optimal resource utilization and effective engagement administration.
• Drive program management, client relationships, and day-to-day operations of GMS services.
• Oversee financials, process improvements, and global coordination with US engagement teams.
• Provide guidance on talent management, training, and career development of team members.

Client & Engagement Management

• Directly engage with clients to deliver high-quality US Tax services, including compliance, advisory, and mobility/payroll solutions.
• Interpret US Tax laws and provide specialist insights for corporate and partnership tax matters.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality engagement outputs while managing competing priorities.
• Collaborate with Operating Office teams to monitor metrics, turnaround times, and client expectations.

Strategic Leadership

• Establish and communicate vision, goals, and expectations for exceptional service delivery.
• Identify resource needs and secure support for client engagements.
• Promote innovation, new approaches, and operational excellence.
• Inspire team members, foster open feedback, and uphold KPMG’s professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a reputable university.
• Professional credentials: CA, CPA, ICWA, or MBA (Finance).
• 12–18 years of US Tax experience, including signing US Tax returns and interpreting US Tax laws.
• 5+ years working closely with US engagement teams in a global or cross-cultural environment.
• Onshore/secondment experience in the US is a plus.

Mandatory Skills

• Deep expertise in US Corporate and Partnership Tax.
• Strong understanding of GMS services, global mobility, and payroll advisory operations.
