Key Responsibilities
As EHS Manager, you will be accountable for:
- Supporting the Project Head in managing all EHS-related matters across the construction project.
- Acting as the EHS representative for L&T Realty at the project site.
- Monitoring, coordinating, and reporting the EHS performance of all contractors and vendors on-site.
- Ensuring complete compliance with L&T safety standards, national EHS laws, and industry best practices.
- Leading and conducting EHS audits, safety inspections, HAZOP, and HAZID studies.
- Performing static and dynamic risk assessments, along with impact assessments for ongoing and upcoming construction activities.
- Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and organizing safety training sessions for staff and contractors.
- Leading root cause analysis for incidents and ensuring timely documentation and preventive actions.
- Collaborating with internal teams and government bodies to maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven knowledge of EHS laws, construction safety protocols, and industry standards
- Experience in conducting EHS audits, inspections, and risk mitigation planning
- Strong communication, coordination, and implementation skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in safety enforcement
- Skilled in handling root cause analysis, TNA, and incident reporting
- No-ego, proactive mindset with a willingness to lead and learn in a fast-paced project environment
Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or relevant discipline)
- NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma or Post-Graduation in OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) from CLI or RLI is mandatory
