Key Responsibilities
As the Manager – eGovernance Projects, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital governance and IT transformation initiatives for government clients.
- Developing detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Creating and managing IT blueprints, system architecture, and integration plans.
- Overseeing vendor performance, including SLA compliance and delivery quality.
- Managing the entire SDLC lifecycle and aligning with public-sector frameworks and protocols.
- Facilitating regular meetings with government bodies, IT teams, and vendors to ensure project alignment.
- Identifying risks and mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensuring that projects adhere to quality, governance, security, and accessibility standards.
Key Skills & Expertise
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience managing digital government projects or eGovernance implementations.
- In-depth understanding of public sector IT ecosystems and digital policy frameworks.
- Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall models.
- Experience with vendor management and contract/SLA governance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments with government officials and technology partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Policy, or related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- 8–12 years of overall work experience, with at least 4 years in the public sector domain.
- Previous consulting experience with digital transformation in the public sector is highly preferred.
