Key Responsibilities
As an Assurance Manager at EY Mumbai, you will:
- Lead and manage statutory audit assignments across financial services and other industries.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with senior management.
- Provide strategic insights on emerging audit and accounting practices in India and globally.
- Serve as a trusted business advisor, anticipating and resolving complex client issues.
- Drive business development initiatives, including preparing high-quality proposals.
- Contribute to firm growth by expanding existing client engagements and securing new projects.
- Lead and coordinate audit planning and execution with guidance from partners.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in audit standards with a focus on financial services and telecom sectors.
- Provide risk management guidance to ensure quality and compliance.
- Mentor, guide, and coach team members while promoting a high-performance culture.
- Actively contribute to knowledge management and process improvement within the firm.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
- 5–6 years of post-qualification experience in statutory/external audits.
- Strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, and pharmaceuticals.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide value-driven client insights.
- Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and people development.
