Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Documentation Management
- Ensure accurate and timely customer invoice generation aligned with purchase orders and contract terms.
- Verify and maintain compliance with statutory and internal documentation requirements.
- Approve invoice corrections and collaborate with cross-functional teams for re-issuance.
Receivables Monitoring & Collections
- Track customer-wise receivables and manage ageing reports to identify overdue payments.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding payments and handle customer escalations efficiently.
- Ensure collection of TDS certificates, payment proofs, and acknowledgments.
Credit Control & Risk Management
- Monitor and manage customer credit limits in coordination with Sales and Finance departments.
- Assess creditworthiness of new customers and recommend credit terms accordingly.
- Identify and mitigate risks from high-risk accounts to safeguard company assets.
Audit & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory tax regulations related to accounts receivable.
- Facilitate internal and external audits for receivables and maintain audit-ready ledgers.
- Keep thorough and accurate documentation to support compliance requirements.
Team Leadership & Process Optimization
- Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable team to achieve high accuracy and productivity.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, including automation and system enhancements.
- Conduct training sessions focused on compliance, system updates, and customer relationship management.
MIS Reporting & Financial Insights
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS reports promptly.
- Provide accurate receivables data and actionable insights for management review and decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Master of Commerce (MCom) mandatory.
- Experience: 8-15 years in accounts receivable, credit control, and collections.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliances such as GST and TDS.
- Proven experience in invoicing, collections, and credit risk management.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, MIS, and audit coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under deadlines.
