Key Responsibilities

As a Manager Accounting (R2R) at Caterpillar, you will:

  • Manage Record to Report (RTR) activities for multiple global regions.
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports in line with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Oversee accounting policies, liaising with auditors, tax examiners, and regulators.
  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Handle complex accounting areas such as loans, leases, borrowings, and financial instruments.
  • Ensure smooth month-end closings, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–10 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS.
  • Hands-on expertise in R2R processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP (highly preferred).
  • Prior experience in captive shared services or large financial service organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work in US time zones.
