Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring successful delivery using agile methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transform data to a logical data model (LDM) for analytics and business intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive technical decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and operations processes.
• Implement and deploy solutions on AWS, leveraging services like ECS, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, SQS, and RDS Aurora.
• Develop and maintain Data Lake architectures to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Leverage IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible for automation and consistent deployments.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Generative AI solutions, experimenting with new AI/ML techniques and methodologies.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance in all technology solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Redshift, and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, and data lake architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Practical experience in CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based deployments, and modern data engineering practices.
• Understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and manage product roadmaps and delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Generative AI solution development and deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AI/ML services and advanced analytics platforms.
