Key Responsibilities
Corporate Accounting & Financial Closing
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts including GRN, MIRO, provisions, and manhour data compilation.
- Review general ledger accounts, prepaid expenses, provisions, expected cost to completion, royalty and networking fees.
- Prepare risk review presentations, cash certificates, statutory compliance certificates, and GRN certificates.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle employee income tax computation and deduction on a monthly basis.
- Manage corporate income tax, GST compliance, and statutory reporting.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and tax audit requirements.
Auditing
- Oversee quarterly statutory audits and yearly statutory and tax audits.
- Conduct internal audits and implement audit recommendations.
Employee Payments
- Process monthly salaries, staff reimbursements, and payments to retainers.
Inter-Unit Compliance
- Perform periodic inter-unit reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in corporate accounting, financial analysis, and auditing.
- Strong knowledge of taxation (income tax, GST, corporate tax).
- Proficiency in MIS reporting, statutory compliance, and inter-unit reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure compliance across units.
Qualifications
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 14–20 years of experience in corporate accounts, finance, and auditing.
- Proven track record in financial management, statutory compliance, and taxation.
