Key Responsibilities
As an Applied AI/ML Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions, leveraging cutting-edge models for use cases such as Document Q&A, Information Retrieval, Summarization, and Search.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Strategy, and Business Management to define requirements and translate them into AI/ML projects.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring high-quality preprocessing, cleaning, and validation of data.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts, conducting training sessions to enhance AI/ML adoption across the FP&A organization.
- Stay updated with the latest AI/ML advancements, introducing innovative techniques and off-the-shelf solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Communicate findings and insights through clear, concise reports and visualizations for diverse audiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in Python or R and experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Strong statistical analysis, modeling, and data visualization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Solid experience in NLP, Generative AI, and deep learning algorithms.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions for complex business operations.
- Leadership experience, including mentoring junior analysts or managing small teams.
- Familiarity with finance and FP&A processes in a corporate environment.
