JP Morgan is hiring a Global Markets Analyst – APAC Commodities (Metals) in Mumbai to join its dynamic Commercial & Investment Bank team. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about global metals markets, financial analysis, and corporate sales support. The analyst will work closely with the APAC Sales team, assisting in market research, pricing analysis, trade ideas, and operational support. This position offers exposure to corporate clients across Asia and is a strategic role in driving the growth and expansion of JP Morgan’s APAC Commodities business.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
- Prepare and distribute market updates and marketing materials to Sales teams.
- Conduct research on client profiles, sectoral studies, and industry landscapes.
- Provide market color, generate trade ideas, and assist with ideation of trade structures.
Sales & Trade Support
- Build pitch books, presentations, and sample Excel models for Sales teams.
- Support pre- and post-trade activities, including trade documentation and internal liaison.
- Input, manage, and update executed trade data in internal systems.
- Assist with pricing, back-testing, and syndication of trades for various asset classes.
Internal Collaboration
- Liaise with legal, control, and operations teams to ensure compliance and smooth trade execution.
- Support Sales teams in operational requirements and portfolio management tasks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of financial products (FX Options, Rates, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities).
- Demonstrated interest in global financial markets and trading operations.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in financial services support roles.
- Knowledge of banking operations and market research tools.
- Exposure to pricing vanilla and exotic solutions.
- Client-facing experience and advanced Excel or data visualization skills.
