Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance
- Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
- Replace guest amenities, supplies, and linens in rooms.
- Make beds, fold linens, and clean bathrooms.
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
- Ensure all appliances are present and in working order.
- Straighten furniture, desk items, and decor.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties throughout the property.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company and safety policies, including proper storage of flammable materials.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
Guest Service & Teamwork
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to Fairfield standards.
- Anticipate and address guest needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
- Speak professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
- Support team members to achieve department goals.
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and heavier items with assistance.
- Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven or sloping surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below knees, bend, twist, pull, stoop, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
- Maintain fine motor skills for handling various housekeeping tasks.
