Key Responsibilities
Guest Room & Public Area Cleaning
- Clean and service guest rooms (occupied, checkout, turndown) as per LRA and hotel standards.
- Maintain zero-defect rooms and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure public areas, corridors, pantries, and fire exits remain clean and defect-free.
- Follow proper bedroom and bathroom cleaning procedures, including carpet, floor, and upholstery care.
Operational Duties
- Stock guest amenities, linen, and housekeeping supplies as per standards.
- Maintain the housekeeping trolley in a clean, well-equipped, and organized manner.
- Report lost and found items promptly and follow all key-handling procedures.
- Carry out deep cleaning schedules and ensure proper chemical usage.
- Assist supervisors with linen inventory, requisitions, and recordkeeping.
Guest Interaction & Service
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
- Provide personalized service and create “WOW” guest experiences.
- Communicate guest needs and feedback to supervisors for resolution.
Financial & Resource Management
- Use housekeeping supplies, chemicals, and equipment efficiently to control costs.
- Maintain par stock levels in assigned pantries.
Teamwork & Compliance
- Support team members and follow supervisor instructions.
- Adhere to hotel safety, fire, and hygiene procedures.
- Uphold company policies and environmental standards.
- Maintain excellent grooming and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/certificate in Hospitality or Housekeeping Management preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping within hotels or resorts is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and housekeeping equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle guest interactions politely and professionally.
