Key Responsibilities
Financial & Inventory
- Handle restaurant cashiering in line with company policy.
- Support inventory control and reduce crockery/appliance breakages.
- Assist in scheduled stock checks and audits.
Operational Excellence
- Prepare the restaurant and service areas as per outlet standards.
- Welcome guests and provide professional waiter/waitress service.
- Stay updated on daily menu items, preparation methods, and service communication.
- Follow the Standard Operating Manual for service sequence.
- Set up tables, replenish supplies, and maintain service readiness.
- Clear tables, manage spillage, and ensure cleanliness throughout operations.
Team & Service Standards
- Support departmental goals and internal audits.
- Maintain grooming standards and ensure a polished professional appearance.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
General Duties
- Suggest food and beverage pairings confidently.
- Maintain mise-en-place and service pantry cleanliness.
- Ensure all restaurant areas are neat and well-maintained after service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage service within hotels or restaurants.
- Strong communication and guest interaction skills.
- Knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and service etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Excellent grooming and professional demeanor.
