Responsibilities
As a GSA – F&B at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, your key responsibilities include:
- Perform opening and closing duties and set tables as per hotel standards.
- Deliver food and beverage service according to departmental procedures.
- Check cleanliness, table settings, and side station preparation before operations.
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct temperature and presentation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance).
- Personalize service by remembering guest preferences.
- Cross-sell and up-sell menu items and dining venues to maximize revenue.
- Clear tables quickly and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Handle requisitions for F&B supplies and check stock accuracy.
- Report complaints or irregularities to management.
- Assist other F&B outlets during peak times as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum: High School / Diploma in Hotel Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality is preferred.
- Freshers are welcome to apply; prior F&B service experience is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality service standards and basic food safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
