✅ Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Food & Beverage Operations
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests with attention to quality and presentation.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards.
- Respond to guest inquiries about menu items and special dietary needs.
- Communicate guest requests, allergies, or special meal requirements to the kitchen.
- Record transactions using MICROS point-of-sale system.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, china, and glassware.
- Complete closing duties including restocking items and securing areas.
Safety & Company Compliance
- Follow Marriott International safety, security, and hygiene protocols.
- Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information.
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 lbs independently; assist with heavier objects above 50 lbs.
- Bend, twist, reach overhead and below the knees while performing tasks.
- Navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces safely.
Teamwork & Communication
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the team to meet service goals and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
