Key Responsibilities
As Global IT Software Engineer Manager at BCG, you will:
- Lead the design, development, and technical support of BCG’s global HR applications.
- Provide hands-on coding while guiding developers through best practices and code reviews.
- Manage application health, scalability, and performance while minimizing technical debt.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Drive SOA & microservices implementations using REST APIs and modern architectures.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies (AI, GenAI, DevOps, Cloud-Native) to enhance IT solutions.
- Ensure integrations with SaaS/cloud-based applications and IAM security standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Mentor developers and promote Agile methodologies across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 9–11 years in enterprise software development or IT consulting.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core, ASP.NET/MVC, C#, Node.js.
- Front-end expertise in Angular (v5+), React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML.
- Database management with Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with Git/TFS for version control.
- Preferred Knowledge:
- DBT command, Snowflake, mobile app development (iOS).
- SOA/microservices, Mulesoft, Kong integrations.
- AI/GenAI project implementation exposure.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, Agile mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
