Key Responsibilities
As a Global IT Data Analyst Senior Specialist at BCG, you will:
- Define, design, and deliver business intelligence and reporting solutions to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Act as a functional subject matter expert, drafting functional specifications and project documentation.
- Refine requirements (epics/stories) for data engineers to implement.
- Gather and document business and reporting requirements from global stakeholders.
- Develop data models by integrating multiple data sources for analytics.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau and Business Objects.
- Identify reporting gaps, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Procurement, and IT in a global environment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in SQL; experience with Snowflake DB is a plus.
- Proven skills in Tableau and Business Objects (BI tools).
- Good understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes; Coupa platform experience is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and reporting abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable with Agile methodologies and fast-paced project delivery.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, multiple priorities, and iterative requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Economics.
- MBA preferred (not mandatory).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, finance reporting, or procurement analytics (less considered for exceptional candidates).
- Prior experience in professional services or consulting environments is a plus.
