Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Maintenance
- Assist Engineering Supervisor and Assistant Engineer in maintaining hotel equipment.
- Control, check, and handle all tools and equipment with care.
- Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, drill press, lathes, grinders, shapers, and thread cutters.
- Maintain tools, heating systems, and other engineering equipment as per standards.
- Complete work orders, reports, and assigned tasks on time.
Operational Support
- Follow hotel policies, safety protocols, and departmental procedures.
- Support other departments with technical assistance when needed.
- Ensure all jobs are performed effectively and efficiently.
- Report issues that may affect hotel operations to management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Service-oriented with high attention to detail.
- Team player, self-motivated, and energetic.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
Qualifications
- Secondary/High School education required.
- Trade Certificate in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in maintenance or engineering.
- Proficiency in English (reading and speaking).
