Key Responsibilities
As a Formulation Scientist – R&D, you will:
- Develop oral solid and liquid formulations aligned with project timelines.
- Ensure pilot and pivotal bio-studies, robust scalability, and successful product filings.
- Apply Quality by Design (QbD) principles for differentiated formulations targeting emerging markets.
- Collaborate with analytical, SCM, process, regulatory, and clinical teams to support development and approvals.
- Conduct optimization trials, plant presentations, and documentation for scale-up activities.
- Support regulatory filings (PDR, deficiency responses, exhibit batches) for global submissions.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, cGLP, ICH guidelines, and safety protocols.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong background in oral solid dosage forms (OSD) and platform technologies.
- Hands-on experience with modified release pellets, matrix formulations, and oral liquids.
- Practical knowledge of lab-scale and plant-scale pharmaceutical equipment.
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and regulatory documentation.
- Familiarity with ICH, cGMP, cGLP practices.
