Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Operations
- Complete closing duties, including storing reusable items, cleaning equipment, securing service areas, and restocking supplies.
- Set up, stock, and maintain workstations; inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware, and silverware.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout shifts, following clean-as-you-go practices.
- Support day-to-day operations in restaurants, banquets, and room service.
Guest Service & Communication
- Greet and acknowledge guests according to Ritz-Carlton standards.
- Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Support team efforts to meet operational and guest service goals.
- Address guest requests or escalate issues as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain personal appearance, cleanliness, and uniform standards.
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality.
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces; reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, and stoop.
- Use fine motor skills for handling service items.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior work or supervisory experience required.
- Enthusiastic about hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
