Key Responsibilities
F&B Controls
- Verify duty meals and entertainment checks; prepare audit reports for approval.
- Review daily void checks and reconcile food & beverage sales with POS reports.
- Audit Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and highlight deviations to management.
- Coordinate with the culinary team on interdepartmental transfers and recipe updates.
- Supervise hotel inventory, receiving, and storekeeping activities.
- Monitor liquor and minibar inventory with regular surprise audits.
- Prepare detailed cost analysis reports, including wastage, shrinkage, and variances.
- Conduct buffet costing and ensure compliance with cost-control procedures.
Income Audit
- Secure and verify revenue-related documents including guest checks, folios, and receipts.
- Reconcile guest ledger balances with general ledger balances.
- Consolidate daily and monthly income reports across all hotel operations.
- Audit deposits, control documents, and prepare exception reports.
- Ensure accurate reporting of income and compliance with internal policies.
General Finance Duties
- Support Financial Controller and Assistant Director of Finance with reporting tasks.
- Maintain excise records in line with local statutory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Accor’s credit policies and financial regulations.
- Maintain professional conduct, hygiene, and grooming standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial transparency and cost efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Hotel Management.
- 2–4 years of experience in income auditing, cost control, or hotel finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial procedures, auditing practices, and cost control systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS/ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and commercial awareness.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment with rotational shifts.
