Key Responsibilities
As the Food & Beverage Cost Controls Executive at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you will:
- Monitor procurement, storage, and issuance of F&B inventory to maintain stock levels while reducing waste.
- Analyze hotel costs, including ingredient usage, portion control, menu pricing, and sales trends.
- Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to design profitable and guest-centric menus.
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, timely deliveries, and quality products.
- Implement and enforce cost control procedures to prevent theft, wastage, and misuse.
- Prepare detailed cost and profitability reports for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, or Accounting (CHAE certification preferred).
- At least 2 years’ experience in food and beverage cost control, preferably in luxury hospitality.
- Strong analytical and financial data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and inventory systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A detail-oriented, accuracy-focused approach to reporting and calculations.
