Key Responsibilities
As a Basware Senior Consultant at EY, you will:
- Provide Level 2/3 application management support for Basware AP applications, covering service requests, incidents, enhancements, and problem management.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, and process improvement.
- Manage incident resolution, system outages, and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Basware applications to support business operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and recommend Basware design and process solutions.
- Support change requests by analyzing new business requirements.
- Document technical configurations, user guides, and test scripts.
- Train and mentor junior consultants on Basware best practices and troubleshooting.
- Participate in on-call rotation and shift-based work to support global clients.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in Basware Application Management, ideally with global clients.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle/SQL databases, XML, Web Services, and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes.
- Client management experience in a global, multi-region environment.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basware certification.
- PL/SQL knowledge (certification preferred).
- Cloud software experience.
- Prior experience with SAP system integration.
- Knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Strong people management and team leadership skills.
