Key Responsibilities
As a Guidewire PC Config Senior Consultant at EY Bengaluru, you will:
- Act as a technical lead in Guidewire implementation projects.
- Contribute to multiple technical streams of Guidewire configuration and development.
- Lead and mentor project teams while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with onsite coordinators and client representatives for project success.
- Conduct project planning, monitoring, and status reporting to leadership teams.
- Drive system integration efforts and ensure compliance with software development best practices.
- Foster teamwork and build a culture of excellence within the project team.
- Support organizational people initiatives, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration (Delinquency, Disbursements, Collections, Write-off, Transfer Policy, Payment Batch, etc.).
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Property & Casualty Insurance processes.
- Proficiency in Java (5+), JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.
- Strong understanding of PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and enterprise messaging systems.
- Knowledge of Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogic application servers.
- Real-world experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the insurance domain.
- Excellent business communication and leadership skills.
- Prior client-facing experience in Guidewire projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration.
- Exposure to insurance domain (P&C) processes.
- Prior involvement in Guidewire implementations and upgrades.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent technical degree.
- 3–7 years of professional experience in Guidewire, P&C insurance, and enterprise solutions.
- Prior experience in Guidewire implementation projects is highly desirable.
