Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Record to Report (R2R):
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books, including consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
- Process journal entries, allocations, period-end adjustments, and fixed asset accounting.
- Perform pre-close activities and ensure accurate depreciation calculations.
- Track capital projects, monitor budgets, and close or capitalize projects efficiently.
Team Leadership & Client Engagement:
- Lead a team of 6–10 professionals, supervising day-to-day operations and engagement PMO activities.
- Review work performed by team members and provide coaching for skill development.
- Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
- Support Senior Managers in business development and client relationship management.
Technical Excellence & Advisory:
- Apply IFRS/US GAAP and UK GAAP knowledge to complex accounting situations.
- Develop SOPs, training materials, and technical documentation for internal teams.
- Support technical accounting research, variance analysis, and financial statement close processes.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP.
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, R2R processes, and MIS reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP S4/HANA, SAC, FloQast, Concur, Ariba, Active Disclosures, FIS.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
Qualifications
- CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or MBA from a reputed institute.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience, including financial statement close, entity/BU reporting, and MIS reporting.
- Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data analytics or visualization tools is a plus.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
