Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Deliver Record to Report (R2R) services with accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide technical accounting guidance under IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP.
- Conduct variance analysis, financial statement reviews, and MIS reporting.
- Develop SOPs, tools, and training materials to improve processes.
- Partner with treasury teams on cash flow forecasting, risk management, liquidity, and hedge accounting.
- Participate in client meetings, proposals, and new service development.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and EY Assurance standards.
- Collaborate with global EY teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP.
- Hands-on experience in at least three of the following:
- Record to Report (R2R)
- Financial statement close process
- Consolidation and advisory
- Treasury operations
- Business unit/entity reporting
- Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA, MS Office, and Excel.
- Exposure to treasury tools (Concur, Ariba, SAC, Active Disclosures, FloQast, FIS).
- Knowledge of treasury organizational structures, cash flow forecasting, and M&A support.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and research skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Flexibility to travel if required.
Qualifications
- B.Com, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), Diploma in IFR, or MBA (Full-time/Part-time).
- 3–6 years of experience in financial reporting, entity-level reporting, and MIS.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is a plus.
