About the Role
The Senior Okta SSO Analyst is a key member of EY’s IAM team, responsible for advanced Okta management, SSO/MFA integration, and operational excellence. You will oversee day-to-day identity services, mentor junior analysts, optimize workflows, and ensure high availability, security, and compliance across global operations.
This role blends technical expertise with strategic operations, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic, client-facing, and global IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day Okta operations, ensuring system performance, security, and availability.
- Lead SSO integration projects across applications and systems, troubleshooting SSO & MFA issues.
- Serve as Okta subject matter expert, providing guidance to junior analysts and stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize SSO/MFA systems, implement automation for operational efficiency.
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and operational documentation.
- Conduct access reviews, user provisioning, and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with IAM engineering and IT teams to deploy new features and ensure production readiness.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, disaster recovery plans, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to training materials for IAM operations.
Preferred Skills & Technologies
- Hands-on experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Federate, Ping ID.
- Knowledge of federation protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
- Experience in SSO/MFA deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, and configuration management.
- Scripting & automation skills: PowerShell, Azure CLI.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks: GDPR, HIPAA, SOX.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, ITIL, or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in IAM, Okta, SSO, and MFA technologies.
- Willingness to travel, work in shifts, and provide on-call support as required.
