Key Responsibilities
As an EY Senior Consultant – Infrastructure Capital Project Management, you will:
- Lead capital infrastructure programs including PMO setup, governance, risk management, cost control, and delivery.
- Develop and manage EPC project schedules in Primavera P6/MS Project, including WBS, dependencies, timelines, productivity, and cost breakdown structures.
- Perform schedule tracking, delay analysis, earned value management (EVM), baseline execution index (BEI), and S-curve tracking.
- Integrate scheduling data into Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable project insights.
- Conduct risk management activities: risk register, heat maps, severity analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Deliver project due diligence, ensuring schedule quality, dependencies, float, and critical tasks align with best practices.
- Support business development activities: RFP response, solution design, SME advisory, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Mentor junior consultants and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives in capital projects.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, EPC lifecycle, and schedule delay analysis.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end capital projects with PMO leadership experience.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7–9 years of experience in infrastructure capital project management.
- Hands-on exposure to at least two end-to-end capital projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC interdependencies, governance, risk, and cost control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/related fields (advanced certifications preferred).
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- PMP certification.
- Exposure to Digital Twin, BIM, AI, SAP, Smartsheet, Agile methodologies.
- Prior experience with Big 4 consulting firms.
