Key Responsibilities
As a Manager – Strategy & Transactions (Finance & Accounting) at EY Pune, your role will include:
- Leading projects across the M&A transaction lifecycle – carve-outs, integrations, cross-border M&A.
- Supporting synergy assessments, cost analysis, and operational due diligence.
- Designing and executing carve-out/integration plans while mitigating risks.
- Delivering insights through sector and deal analysis, linking operations to P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Building client relationships and collaborating with EY global offices.
- Managing and mentoring teams of TSE professionals.
- Preparing business proposals and supporting new client opportunities.
- Documenting processes, preparing presentations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Strong understanding of the M&A lifecycle, carve-outs, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting systems, ERP/BI tools, and digital finance transformation.
- Proven ability to analyze operational and financial data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and facilitation skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
- Ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10–12 years of relevant consulting/industry experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Techno-functional expertise with ERP/BI systems used for reporting, accounting, and financial analysis.
- Experience across both transaction and transformation engagements.
