Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Actimize Implementation at EY, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing technology consultants in large-scale capital market transformation projects.
- Acting as a Capital Markets Specialist to deliver end-to-end solutions in surveillance, trading, and compliance.
- Designing and implementing Actimize modules (Surveil-X) across equities, fixed income, futures, and RCM.
- Conducting risk assessments, trade surveillance, data feeds, configuration, and rule building in Actimize.
- Reviewing test cases and guiding QA teams during implementation cycles.
- Collaborating with clients to provide domain expertise across front office, middle office, and back-office operations (trade capture, pricing, settlement, clearing, reconciliation, risk, and PnL).
- Driving requirements gathering, documentation, and gap analysis for OOTB vs. custom features.
- Supporting Agile/Scrum-based delivery and participating in product demos, training, and solution workshops.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in Actimize module development & implementation (Surveil-X).
- Proficiency in SQL queries and database management.
- Programming/scripting expertise in Python, Java, or C#.
- Knowledge of financial services technology architecture for capital markets.
Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of capital markets trading lifecycle (equity, fixed income, derivatives, forex).
- Expertise in trade surveillance scenarios and market misconduct detection.
- Experience in gap analysis, product customization, and configuration mapping.
- Client-facing skills with the ability to present solutions and manage expectations.
- Exposure to end-to-end product implementation in capital markets platforms (COTS or custom).
Education & Experience Requirements
- MBA, MCA, BE, or BTech (or equivalent).
- 3–8 years of professional experience in the banking and capital markets industry.
