Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders (POs) accurately and ensure timely release in line with APQS guidelines.
• Monitor vendor commitments for on-time deliveries and escalate deviations proactively.
• Maintain and update master data including vendor details, open POs, and inventory levels.
• Handle price changes (PIRs), purchase planning, and quarterly packing material costing in coordination with Manager-Purchase.
• Support MIS reporting and generate monthly reports such as Vendor Performance Reports.
• Manage quality rejections, CAPA closures, and debit/credit notes as per plant and vendor requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, finance, taxation, SSC, and IT for smooth procurement operations.
• Ensure compliance with purchase-related APQS processes and timely data capture.
• Participate in assigned projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong procurement and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, PM Ordering System, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of inventory management, purchase planning, and quality processes.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to adhere to timelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in any stream (BA/B.Com/BBA/BMS).
• Minimum 50% marks throughout education, no backlogs.
• Graduation must be through a full-time course.
• Prior exposure to procurement, supply chain, or inventory management is advantageous but not mandatory.
