Key Responsibilities
Fixed Assets Accounting
- Capitalization of assets acquired at manufacturing locations, depots, and corporate center.
- Review and capitalization as per component accounting guidelines.
- Accounting and reconciliation of asset sales on an ongoing basis.
- Review assets under construction (WIP).
- Preparation of FA schedule and computation of tax depreciation.
Financial Certification & Reporting
- Provide certification assistance to plants/locations on Gross Block values.
- Accounting for transfer of assets between locations.
- Manage complete accounting for a subsidiary of Asian Paints, including preparation of monthly financial statements.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards in all fixed assets accounting activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- Graduate in Finance, Accounts, Commerce, or related field.
- Knowledge of fixed assets accounting and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Behavioral Competencies:
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Strong organizational and process adherence skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple locations and stakeholders.
