Responsibilities
Daily Accounting Activities
- Maintain and update supplier master records regularly.
- Process, review, and clear freight bills in the system.
- Prepare cheques for freight bills after ensuring advance adjustments.
- Control advances and ensure proper adjustment against bills.
Monthly & Compliance Activities
- Coordinate with HR for salary disbursement and employee payroll.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) accurately and on time.
- Submit monthly financial reports to various internal functions.
- Prepare NSSO returns, PF, ESIC returns, and reconcile unpaid salaries and bonuses.
- Review deductions, highlight inaccuracies, and ensure statutory compliance.
- Liaise with government departments as required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure proper documentation for ISO compliance.
- Guide and support Officer-Level I staff in their daily tasks.
- Identify areas for process improvements within accounts operations.
- Assist corporate accounts team in financial reporting and internal audits.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications
- B.Com (Commerce) or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in accounts, finance, or payroll management.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, NSSO, and payroll reconciliation.
